The Spaceship Controller Connector for Invector TPC is a comprehensive package that enables the seamless integration of Invector TPC and Sci-Fi Ship Controller by SCSM. It provides a set of scripts, prefabs, and assets necessary for the streamlined connection, including the svSpaceshipTelAction script, svSpaceshipTelTrigger script, svPilotManager script, TeleportationPad prefab, PilotManager prefab, and various materials, textures, and audio clips.


To use the asset, you simply add the svSpaceshipTelAction script to an Invector TPC character and place the corresponding svSpaceshipTelTrigger in the scene. These components come with preconfigured parameters, simplifying their usage. The svPilotManager script acts as a bridge to facilitate the transition between controllers.

The svSpaceshipTelAction script provides settings such as Pad Tag for interaction with the pad game object, Delayed Teleport for a specified wait time before executing the action, Catapult Distance to determine the player's appearance above or below the spaceship, and Landing Distance for the player's spawn location near the spaceship. Additionally, it supports Teleport Animation, allowing for the execution of a specific animation during teleportation.


The Teleportation Pad prefab consists of child game objects, including Text for displaying a signal, Pad for the pad mesh, Lights for activated lights, VFXs for particle systems, and SFX for audio sources that play during the player's interactions.


The svSpaceshipTelTrigger is responsible for triggering the teleportation action, and it offers options such as Auto Teleport for automatic execution and a reference to the Pilot Manager script, which is crucial for managing the teleportation process and transitioning from Invector TPC to the spaceship controller.


The svPilotManager prefab contains the svPilotManager script, which requires configuration of references to the player game object (Pilot) and the spaceship. It offers activation and deactivation events for making calls to methods of controllers or other game objects.

By utilizing the Spaceship Controller Connector for Invector TPC, developers can seamlessly connect Invector TPC and Sci-Fi Ship Controller, saving time and increasing productivity.
