This asset supercharges the default Unity Code Editor Plugin. Enhance your productivity by adding only the projects and files you actually need to your solution. Focus on what matters! Our Solution Organizer can also place your .csproj files directly at the root of your assembly definitions. This eliminates the need to dig through multiple folders in the Solution Explorer in order to reach your code files. Don't worry, this decluttering is purely visual — your actual file hierarchy remains unchanged!

Customize Solution Organizer to fit your needs with advanced settings that go beyond the basics. Efficiently manage your compiler settings for a cleaner workflow or remove unnecessary assembly references.

✔️ Flatten the Solution Explorer File Hierarchy

Move .csproj files to the assembly definition root to flatten the hierarchy without altering the actual file structure. This way you won't have to open "Assets -> Scripts or Plugins -> Project name" anymore to see the project files.

✔️ Reduce Clutter in the Solution Explorer

Add only the projects to your solution that you need on a daily basis. Exclude files from your projects based on their extension. You can still open the regular solution with all projects through the menu bar.

The file hierarchy ist flattened automatically, typically unwanted files are excluded by default and stripping projects from the solution is just one click in our intuitive settings window.

Specify warnings to be ignored on a per-project basis and enable "Treat warnings as errors" both in the Unity Editor and your IDE via automatically generated csc.rsp files.

• Rider. Tested with 2024.1.

• Solution Organizer works best in projects that make use of assembly definitions.
