Render pipeline compatibility
The Built-in Render Pipeline is Unity’s default render pipeline. It is a general-purpose render pipeline that has limited options for customization. The Universal Render Pipeline (URP) is a Scriptable Render Pipeline that is quick and easy to customize, and lets you create optimized graphics across a wide range of platforms. The High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP) is a Scriptable Render Pipeline that lets you create cutting-edge, high-fidelity graphics on high-end platforms.

Description

Supports all render pipelines!

Package includes:

  • 24 Wall Segments
  • 10 Ceiling Segments
  • 6 Columns Segments
  • 5 Floors Segments
  • 11 Stair Segments
  • 3 Small Rocks
  • 5 Scattered Rocks
  • 4 Scattered Wall Stones
  • 20 Assembled Dungeon Segments

Models:

All models have LODs, with the number depending on the model type. Walls, ceilings, columns, and floor models have up to five LODs, while rock and stone models, being the smallest, have three.

Most models are created in both high-poly and low-poly versions. Each version has separate texture sets and is then combined into a single prefab, with the first three LODs being high-poly and the last two low-poly. If you want to use only the low-poly versions, you can simply remove the first three LODs from each segment.

Models created in this way include all wall, ceiling, column, and floor models, as well as all stair models except the round stairs.

Polycounts vary based on the size of the model.

  • Large models average ~15K for LOD 0 and go down to ~500 for the last LOD.
  • Medium-sized models average ~6K for LOD 0 and go down to ~200 for the last LOD.
  • Smallest models average ~1K for LOD 0 and go down to ~50 for the last LOD.

Textures:

Texture resolutions are also mostly dependend on the size of the model. Large models have 4K textures while smaller models have 2K. All wall, ceiling, column, floor and some stair models have secondary low resolution texture set.

Textures include:

  • Albedo
  • Normal Map
  • Metallic and Smoothness
  • Ambient Occlusion
  • Mask Map (it contains)
    • Red channel – Metallic map
    • Green channel – Ambient Occlusion map
    • Blue channel – empty (white)
    • Alpha channel – Smoothness map

Demo scene and its extra models are included.

Demo Scene is rendered using HDRP! (Available only for HDRP)

Note: Since each pipeline utilizes particular textures, you can safely delete the rest to reduce your project size.

  • Standard Pipeline (SP): If using SP you can delete Mask Map textures.
  • Universal Render Pipeline (URP): If using URP you can delete Mask Map textures.
  • High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP): If using HDRP you can delete the Metallic/Smoothness and Ambient Occlusion textures.

You can also decrease the package size by lowering the resolution of secondary textures, such as normal maps, mask maps, ambient occlusion maps and smoothness/metallic maps.
