There is nothing more quintessential in a game than revealing rewards to a player by showing a treasure chest opening up. This package includes a 2D animation of treasure chests in various styles and colors.

The sample scenes have everything you need to easily add the animation to your game. Use the inspector to quickly make adjustments to the animation. Adjust the animation speed of each segment, the duration of the idle loops, or show or hide parts of the animation.

For even more control, use the API to further customize and control the animation. This popular API comes with comprehensive online documentation, and is very easy to use. It offers many powerful features such as events, which can be used to play your own sounds, or trigger additional actions in your game.

Spine Runtime

The Spine Runtime by Esoteric Software is a required library that enables the animation to be played in your game. Rather than using inefficient sprite sheets that cannot be changed, the library provides a powerful API to customize and control the animation to your needs. The library is free to install and run, but does require an inexpensive license to distribute with your game. See the README file for installation instructions.

Render Pipelines

Animations can be added as either a GameObject component or as an UI component. Both components are compatible with the Built-in Render Pipeline. The GameObject component is also compatible with the Universal Render Pipeline.

Images

Animations are pixel based. The source images are 2048 x 2048 maximum, 32 bit color depth, with transparency. There are 192 skins, with each skin being optimized to use only 3 images.
